For those of you who don't know, Nicholas has had a real issue with getting his hair cut. Because of this, he has usually had longer, mop top hair. It isn't so bad, since he looks ok with it. The previous haircut to yesterday went somewhat ok, but we didn't chance things and only took a little off. Yesterday, Leanne being the brave soul she is, took Nicholas to get his hair cut and came home and he had a nice looking shorter cut. Yeah rah. It also made him look a little more grown up. I will let you decide.

Da BOYS......

I know, I know, I know I haven't updated in awhile...
Hello all...Things as usually are going pretty ok for the most part. I'm trying to get over some stomach bug thing that doesn't seem to react very well to Zantac, Pepcid, or other acid reducing and bloating reducing meds, and as of right now, TUMS is worthless (TUMS does work well on occasion but not at the moment.) ...And why can't you take multiple meds to see what works best. Anyways, I guess I am looking for the magic pill that will work instantly when it hits my tongue, especially since some of the meds are horrible to taste and must be chewed up so you get to savor the experience. Thank goodness everyone else is doing pretty ok. Zachary is taking meds for an ear infection. Knock on wood!!! He hasn't had many of those lately. Just thinking back to when the poor kid had one about every other week and two sets of ear tubes later. Nicholas is doing well exerting his dominance over his realm or he seams to think he does. He actually is doing very well in his new classroom with only a few altercations here and there. Hey he is only 2 1/2. Lucas is continually growing and growing. His next doctor's appointment is coming up in November. He really still only gets fussy when he is hungry, cold, or really poopy, and of ofcourse when he wants to sit up and look around. He is doing really well, doing alot of smiling and talking. His great battle, other than trying to survive two older brothers that want to shower their love on him, is cradle cap and some exema. Poor little guy just can't get rid of it (I'm referring to the cradle cap, not his brothers.) His other issue with the tight muscles in his neck seem to be getting a little better. We didn't take him for therapy because he is moving his head around more. If the doctor thinks we still need to see someone in November we will then. Overall, the family is doing pretty well and it is exciting to see gas at $3.34 a gallon. It actually cost me less than $30 bucks to fill up my car. Don't even ask abou the van. Sheesh... Well here are some updated pics of the boys. Enjoy.

A Day Out With Thomas....
It turned out to be a beautiful day for this event and made the train ride cooler. Blue skies and a temp in the low to mid 80's. Although at the end, the boys were tired and a lil cranky, they really did enjoy it. When we were walking back to the car, Thomas was leaving and all the way until Thomas was out of site, Nicholas kept screaming, "Bye Thomas".
Since both of the older boys love Thomas (Nicholas can be a lil obsessive), we decided to do this event and see how it went. Overall, it was a good experience and Zachary actually saw one of his friends from daycare which was cool. I was thankful that the train ride was only 25 minutes. That was about as long as the two older boys could take. Zachary got a Thomas tatoo and Nicholas kept screaming Thomas. Like I said, sometimes a lil obsessive.

Hot off the press....
Thought I would take some pictures today. Luckily Lucas didn't wake up. Guess his belly was still full.
