We're home...

Well we got home around 8:45pm today and were so glad to be home. I will actually get to sleep in my bed instead of that pull out torture contraption at the hospital. Everyone is doing well. Lucas is being a very good baby, Zachary was excited to see his new brother, and Nicholas was already in bed when we got home. Mom and Dad seemed to be still somewhat sane after being with Zachary and Nicholas for 48 plus hours. They did really good. Sadie, the dog, ofcourse was doign her regular sniffing of this new thing that has come into out midst. She was being so good. Too bad she still didn't hasn't gotten to move up the totem pole. Oh well. Well enjoy some more pictures.

...more Lucas...

Here are some more pictures. I had some technical glitches earlier.

Lucas Josiah Ramos

Well I know I haven't put anything on here in awhile, but I do have some good reasons. Between me having the snip-snip procedure and recuperating and of course our newest addition, things have been quite exciting. July 4th at 8:31 am, Lucas Josiah Ramos decided to come into the world. He was 6 pounds 12.4 ounces and 19 1/4 inches long. He needed a little help with the use of forceps but he didn't get the mishapen head. Both Leanne and Lucas are doign very well. He passed the hearing test in both ears and whatever tests he had this morning. Still waiting for him to get cicumcised (Oh the joy). Not really sure just yet when we will be leaving the hospital. Leanne is having to have a few more blood sugar tests to make sure she is ok since she had gestational diabetes. Well enough rambling, enjoy the pictures.

Time to make the PIZZA!!!!!!

Oh so good.....
Sideways, but a good end result.
Mommy, braving this big tasty feet.
Nicholas, you put the pepperoni on the crust, not your mouth.
We NEED mushrooms, Mommy!!!!

Leanne had a great idea in involving the boys in helping to prepare dinner. So what kind of meal do you trust a 2 year old and 3 year old to help you make? Pizza is a good place to start. After makinf sure that the boys had CLEAN hands, the feast to be made began. Ofcourse, it was at times a little challenging to explain to especially Nicholas that the toppings needed to stay on the english muffins and not be eaten off. All in all it was a fun time with the boys and the end result was very tasty.

Baby Lucas already causing trouble...

Here is the face: eyes, nose, mouth and chubby cheeks
Fuzzy face...
Little face with all features.
These are his feet, can't you tell. You can kind of see the big toe seperated

Well Leanne went for her second unltrasound to see how things were going and some troubling news was brought to our attention. Lucas has decided to be in a breach position instead of being head down. Little stinker. Well in two weeks, Leanne is going in to see if he has changed positions and if not then the doctor will try a procedure to turn him. If that doesn't work, then we will be scheduling an inducement which will include Leanne having a C-section. This is something that Leanne is not looking forward to. So what we need everyone to do is pray that Baby Lucas turns to the head down (Vertex) position. Here are a couple of pictures of the ultrasound pics. I know they are a little fuzzy, but they should show a face and a foot type of image. Also, Baby Lucas is in the 75th percentile for size/weight, meaning he is currently approximately 6.5 pounds and would continue to grow. He would be the largest of all of the kids we have had. Zachary was 5lbs and some ounces, Nicholas was 6lbs and some ounces. I guess we wanted to go out with a bang on this last kid. Continue to keep us all in your thoughts and prayers, especially for Leanne. Baby Lucas has really been doing alot of kicking and bouncing around.

In the shop...

Can we build it? Yes we can...
Keeping my eye on the nail. Nicholas needing a little more discussion about wearing the
safety gear.

Yes, we are studs and yes Daddy put the same picture up twice. Doh!!!
Nicholas nailing using his special technique. Zachary trying to wait patiently.

Well it was bound to happen and of course I made sure that the boys were safe (disclaimer) and didn't have them working with power tools just yet. They were given safety equipment and the OSHA regulations. They enjoyed hammering a real nail with Daddy's hammer. Hmm, whats next? Maybe teaching them to use the miter saw. Just kidding. Enjoy the pictures.

Just another day with the boys...

Well, when I picked the boys up today from daycare, I was informed that Zachary had had a rough day (I.e. not listening, rough housing, etc.) and Nicholas had done somewhat better today. Nicholas has been exerting his independence lately. Well after that, I got to have one of those great, "You need to listen and you shouldn't do this or that" talks. Oh the joy. Well after the talk, Zachary, Nicholas, and myself went to the Great Miami River which is not too far from our house and look at the low dam. Both Nicholas and Zachary had a great time watching the water go over the low dam and all of the debris that would get caught. I wish I would have had my camera to take pictures of their faces. So although it was a rough day in some ways, it ended with the boys listening more and enjoying the rolling waters. I will say that it was very relaxing with the wind blowing and the temperature not being too hot. Gotta love those boys and especially the one coming.
